ABOUT US
Set in the heart of Fornalutx, one of the prettiest villages in Spain; Café Med is ran with a passion for Mediterranean Gastronomy. We invite you to try our seasonal, fresh and exciting dishes produced with love and served with the same. A journey for all all the senses and around the island of Mallorca.
THE MENU
Due to the current climate and in order to guarantee our food is always fresh, our evening menu is always changing to match the season and the produce from "Garden es Mas" you can be sure to to find something to enjoy: please call us to enquire about our menu, dietary requirements and any other questions you may have.
FRESHLY BAKED BREAD
Served All Day
Crispy crust, light fluffy dough served with homemade allioli whether its the the beetroot allioli or the one made with local herbs, combined with the bread this is a beautiful accompaniment to your meal.
CAREFULLY SELECTED WINES
From Mallorca
Many restaurants have their own house wine, but at Cafe Med we have joined forces with local vineyard (Mesquida Mora) to create our very own magnum of Mallorquin wine. This beautiful wine is accompanied by many other carefully selected wines from around the island.

Using produce from our very own "Garden es mas," Chef Peter Toth creates refined dished for our menu del dia. Rich in flavour, light and refreshing these plates are perfect for the mallorquin summer.
GARDEN "ES MAS"
Our very own mediterranean garden
In 2010 the Mediterranean diet was added to the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Mediterranean diet compliments a lifestyle...with respect to nature, social life and culture.
Inspired by the recent climate, a time where we are starting to value the environment in which we live, the beautiful produce on our doorstep, and making the most of the little things in life, Cafe Med has taken a step forward to promote our culture by beginning the project “Garden Es Más”.
We are proud be able to tell people that ALL the fruit, vegetables and salad we are serving started out as a seed in our own Mediterranean garden
